Welcome...

Welcome to the New Jersey chapter!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chapters should have a "chapter leader" that is elected by the members, so who's going to throw their hat in the ring.

For more information on chapters and chapter leaders check out this link...

Ok guys, now that we have us a forum, lets get the ball rolling. I would throw my hat in the pot as running for leader, and may do it with the understanding that I am an army recruiter so I am often busy with work, altho I do come here every chance I get.
I am an avid ford truck man, in fact my very first brand new truck, or car for that matter, was a 1996 Ford Ranger which I recently traded in to get my dream truck, a Ford F-150. I also love working on computers so I would be content with making a logo for us with everyones suggestions as to what they want on it.

Blackwood

Hi,

I'm new on the forum. I live in Blackwood.

I have a 1990 F350 5.8L auto and I just bought a project truck from down in Md. It's a 1980 F350 4X4 auto. Motor and chassis runs strong but the sheetmetal needs some doin'.

I have to get down there and pick it up this week.

I found this after I posted about meeting at a Ford dealer. So I guesse It should have been in this thread? Anyway, I have a 1977 F150, it has more than paid for itself as a work/ yard truck this season....but there are a lot of things I dont know, and reading the FTE has given me a learing experience unrivaled! So I will make time to try and co-ordinate some kind of gathering, if we are really interested in doing so. While watching the Nascar pickup truck race wednesday night, I came up with some ideas , and tonight, the Nascar sedan race is on from Bristol, Tenn., and I am surfing the web, mostly on 'FTE'!! After digging, raking, planting trees, and harvesting fennel, zuchini, tomatos and peppers all day, sitting here after a nice hot shower watching those good 'ol boys goin round-n-round and reading about Ford truck owners and their trucks.....well, heck, it dont get any better than this!

So who wants to meet at a Ford dealer some time in September? With a guestemation of how many , I can get a feel for what any dealers may think about it. I have a list from a web site of all Jersey dealers, and can call them and find out what they think about it.

There are two other threads talking about meetings.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...d.php?t=405958

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/s...=393967&page=2

I think we need to have a meeting to pick a chapter leader to keep things organized until Kenny returns. I'll continue to be the moderator but I can't take on the leaders role due to demands in my personal/work life.

Hi guys, I've been away for awhile but stopped in and found the NJ chapter. great to see it doing so well. I sold my old truck (1940) and just have the Mustangs and the 1993 f150 now.
