story

Big Orn,
Like any Ford truck lover I will go broke and live in it before I give it up. It's been stolen once and wrecked several times. I've put a lot of miles on it from going back and forth to Alpine in 82, driving around SA for years then to Houston in the late 80's - early 90's when I lived in Houston. It finally died in 93. Mom had enough of it in her yard so I bought a new engine (360ci a/c delco, Chevy ugh!) for it in 99. Of course it ran like a champ on the drive up here. It's light blue with dark blue top, F100 Ranger. My goal is body and trim and interior renovations. The seat has nice apholstery and I bought a dash pad from JC Whitney last year. Basic extras to the engine like carb and intake, headers, fix the a/c and heater, I think it needs basic wiring. It's dead again.
So that's the story. What about yours?

My old blue ford was a '69 F350 welding rig. I rebuilt it from a wrecker and made it one nice-looking truck. Drove it nearly all over the US wide-open-throttle - dual 3 inch stacks that came up behind the welding machine and the tips were 3" 90 degree ells cut parallel to the pipe - mean-looking boogers and straights at that. It would lull you to sleep.

I miss it.
