4 firestone wilderness tires 33x12.50 and steel 15x10 wheels painted black 5x5.5 bolt pattern with 3.75 backspacing. also have a rear section of single exhust 3" diameter all mandural bent pipe out behind the rear tire with rolled stainless tip. less than 500 miles on it, just get a muffler and connect your exhust up. this was an expensive peice, basicly from the cab back on a shortbed can be extended easily. 7* C-bushings for 70's ford 4x4, poly. Honda Accord EX alloy rims (sorry got to try!)

As for the rear windows, I'll take both of them and use the best one on the truck. Never hurts to have a spare in case I break one putting it in. I've never done a window before, but the rear looks like it might be a place to start.

Cheers!

I think the closest thing to a 9in posi I have is the spool, but I think I might know where there is one, or you can do the poor mans locker buy adding shims to the side gears in your open carrier but I do have several 3.50 gears for 9in rears, ans setting up a 9 is pretty easy, and straight forward can do one of those in less than an hour. I do have a lockrite locker for a D44 that I ran until I put the spool in the frontend, a friend of mine has expresed an interest in it but no money yet so will have to check if he really wants it first.
What are you looking for in tires I have 4 34x950x15s swampers I will be selling later but that is probably not what you are looking for.
yep the rear window is a pretty easy one to change out so that is a good place to get your feet wet when it comes to changing glass.

My wife just told me to sell our 1995 Dodge Neon...yea I know..it isn't a Ford or a truck, but it has to go. 175000 miles and runs like a champ. Always serviced...auto/ps/pb/air/am-fm...uses a little oil but does not leak anything. Has never failed us. Head gasket/timing belt...etc replaced at 80,000 miles. At that time the compression was to spec and all visible internals looked great. Head was straight and in "like new" condition the mechanic said. Cheapola gaskets! IF anyone knows about Neons, they were notorious for blowing the head gaskets between 95-99 model yearrs. Anyway...this would be a great school car for a student or work car. One small issue...the kickdown cable from the throttle body to the tranny is stuck ( from it sitting the past year and not being driven, I would imagine) . I have disconnected it...forces you to manualy shift if you really want to "go".... This cable is only about 16" long...removeal of the battery and cruise control has kept me from tearing into it and fixing it correctly. Probably a $10 part. Exterior is in good condition as is the interior considering the miles. I have photos...contact me and I will email them to you.

What do you mean? You were thinking of coming up here? Or..?

Can't wait to get my new truck. Found out they're going to play nice with insurance - ONLY 205 a month. Hah...even drop insurance on the old truck (one I've posted about on here - now running ^_^) to 24.99 a month (how kind of them). Anyways....

Hey Roger, if nobody on here has any interest in the truck, what do you think I should do with it then?

Yes, i was going to come over and help you with it, but since you got it, no need right now. Of course, everything went to hell in a handbasket since.

Locking hood release cable

In my joy over getting a "Buy it now" on eBay for a complete locking hood kit for only $29 (OEM too!) I failed to realize it was for a 79 Ford VAN. The cable is too short for the pickup. Figures!

The rest of the kit is brand new and I can use the hood latch and mounts, but the cable is too short.

If I decide to have a custom cable made at the local bike shop, (a few bucks), how long do I have them make it? Also, anyone got pictures of where the cable comes through the firewall and how it routes to the hood mechanism?

Thanks!

John

I've got something I'm looking for now, looking for a Ranger pickup. I think I would prefer a 4x, but wouldn't DQ a 2wd either, as both have plenty of possibilities. It HAS to be extended cab, that is the top priority, prefer not too rusty. Engine and trans not as important, but if 4x prefer V6, also, would be good to have a trans. If 2wd, anything goes. The motor doesn't even have to be there if 2wd. Again, top concern is extended cab, if the powertrain is there great, if not, I have options. Body complete, though.

How picky are you? I know where there's one for $200 It's 2wd with a 4banger in it and a manual. It needs a new slave cyl. Engine only has 50k on it since it's been rebuilt. Ext. cab as well. Body not perfect but not terrible either.

I have a request as well. Does anyone have an exhaust manifold for a 390 on the passenger side? The bottom hole on mine where you bolt up the exhaust pipes is stripped out.

That sounds about like what I am looking for, either check it out or get the info to me. Thanks! I'll look into the manifold, may be one here somewhere.

I do have the manifold, exhaust dumps straight back, this right? If so, I have one.
