Talking New International CXT vs. Ford

Any of you guys hear about the new International CXT?

http://www.internationaldelivers.com/site_layout/news/newsdetail.asp?id=595

It'd be kinda interesting to see Ford develop a similar vehicle. I know that a few similar aftermarket dealer conversions exist already like this one:

http://www.f650pickups.com/indexb.html

From the specs on this aftermarket F-650 conversion and the CXT, the Ford rates at around 800 lb.-ft of torque (with the Caterpillar engine,) while the International CXT only rates at 540 lb.-ft. I'd like to see them face off head to head!

What do you guys think?

Don't you remember the Ford Super Crewzer?? I think it came out in 2000. I love that F-650, 4x4 extreme.

Is it just me or does that International have a Ford dually bed on it? And just for the record, I couldnt not afford either one, but I'd take the ole 300hp Cat in the Blue Oval. Ive been in the Internationals before, and I wasn't really impressed.

It does.

I like the look of the International, and the interior of it over the F-650. But I like the powertrain of the Ford. 300 h.p. 860 lb. ft. torque Cat. If they had the mre powerful DT466 in the CXT, it would be better.

As far as looks, both of them use a superduty bed, and it actually matches the lines of the ford... unlike the International. Advantage: Ford.

The Ford looks far and away better than the IN. Not sure what the interior of the 650 is, but it has to be more comfortable than the IN's.

I saw a canary yellow one of those 650's in Atlanta late one night. I thought it had to be the sweetest truck on the road. I would take one over anything GM could a hummer name to.
