I have been hearing problems with AC. It was about 82 degrees outside, so I used mine today. I started it with 60 degrees and drove for 5 minutes when my hands started to freeze, so I adjusted to 72 degrees. This was also too cold. I had to adjust to 75 degrees for comfort.
My point is why some truck owners are complaining about A.C. I see no problem.

You have to remember how many F-series there are out on the road. Normally, people find this site because they have some sort of problem or issue with their truck. Their numbers will be disproportionate most of the time. Is that to say that there isnt some sort wide scale AC problem? No. I have yet to try out my AC, so I cannot tell you whether or not my vehicle has this issue (its been totally issue free so far).

I live in northern California where the temp is in the upper 90's to 100's for weeks or months at a time. I have not had any complaints about the A/C in my ’04 F150. Now obviously when the temp outside is over 100 and the truck has been sitting in the hot sun for hours, the interior can reach 120 or higher. The A/C takes a minute or two to start cooling down the interior of the truck. I usually help this along by opening a window or two to blow out the super hot air. The air here in California is low humidity. I wonder if the people who are having problems with their A/C live in areas of high temp and high humidity. That might be where the problem with some of the systems occurs. My2cents.
