Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge - HELP!!!
hey ford folk - have any of you installed an AutoMeter Air/Fuel ratio gauge? I mounted a transmission and air/fuel ratio gauge in the my '02 F150 SuperCrew - but have had no success with the A/F Ratio gauge hook-up - What wire do I use for the A/F Ratio gauge - the directions indicate the source wire between the O2 connector and the control module?!?>!? Does anybody know what wire they are speaking of? Where can I find it? Is there a wiring harness I should be looking for?
Thanks in advance for the help!!!

I can't help you on the hook up. Unless you have a wideband O2 sensor installed, the guage is pretty much just a light show. If you really need a good A/F guage then try http://www.widebandcommander.com/ or get a wideband for your autometer guage.

The Autometer A/F gauge works well , but needs to be calibrated for WOT function. Mike Koraido at www.gadgetseller.com can calibrate your existing meter for around $25.
Hook up is easy. The violet wire off the back of the gauge will need to be extended so that it reaches the front O2 sensor on the drivers side. Just run it through the existing rubber grommet in the firewall. Using a T-tap, splice into the black wire in the O2 sensor harness.
