How to remove brake hose clips?
I have a 1989 F350, crewcab, 4x4, 460, 5-speed. I can't seem to figure out how to remove the clips that hold the brake hose/fitting onto the bracket. I tried lifting the top of the clip, and pulling towards me, but, it won't budge. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Richard

Disconnect the metal brake line tube nut at the bracket end of the rubber hose.
If you look at the rubber hose end at the bracket there is a a snap ring. That stays with the hose. It then goes through the bracket and is held in place with a L shaped clip. You can clamp on the clip with vice grips and wiggle it out of the groove in the rubber brake hose.
At least that's how my 88 is.
