The rotary star latch on my 56 broke and I'm thinking of installing some bear claw latches. I want to retain the door key lock and the push button outside handles and it appears I will need to someway modify the existing latch assembly to work with the new bear claws in order to do this. Or, dream up a new way to make the key lock and outside handle work with the bear claw. Has anyone installed bear claws and kept the key locks? Also if anyone has an old latch assembly (working or not) they want to sell cheap I'm interested since I would prefer to do my trial and error work on a second assembly. Thanks for the help. 56Fun
