Is your horn & cigarrete lighter working? If not look at the fuse page in your owners manual and check the fuse. If this is a manual trans take a couple minutes to pull the trouble codes, if you're lucky you will get a vehicle speed sensor code. Simple fix if thats what the problem is.
If its like my 95,there is a brake on/off switch that hits the brake pedel arm. If you got your foot under there accedently it can be bent easily,its on a real weak bracket.if its not touching the arm,just bend it back in place.
