OK, I Am Sick Of This Storm Already!
I am sick to hell of this damned storm already! I just checked the Hurricane Center website and TS Ivan even looks worse. I can see I am not pulling my shutters down this week. I want to see what comes of TS Ivan before I start up the ladder again. I am glad I got the two days off work but sitting on my *** watching Brandy & Mr. Whiskers with my six-year-old daughter is getting old QUICK!

James it doesn't matter where ya live there is always something to screw uo a perfectly good weekend . When we lived in Michigan it was tornados and the nine months of winter ( seemed like it ) . Now I will agree a hurricane makes for a bad day at the beach . Just be glad ya had reletives too stay with . Now go get ready for Ivan

Back in the late 80s I was taking a degree in History from Florida International University in Miami. As a ploy to show that there was some interest in weather history at FIU a bunch of the undergrads did research on hurricanes for the National Weather Service. Soon afterwards the Hurricane Center relocated to its current location on the campus of FIU. Soon after graduation I went through Andrew and was in the ironic situation of thinking, "...I should have known better than to stay here..."
