51 F2 jack
#2
Jack:
The jack for your truck looks very much like what ford has been using for at least 20 years - believe it or not. The major difference is the hole for mounting under the thumbscrew behind the seat. I don't have any part #'s for you, but they can be found at Carlisle, Hershey as well as thru Hemmings. Lin Stacy also comes to mind for a source. (Hemmings again...) I have purchased many correct Ford tools thru him for my F3 - he sells individual pieces or will build you a kit including the bag. He is also reasonable pricewise in a time when a lot of folks think this stuff should sell for millions of dollars--
Good Luck!

The original jack was superceded to a late 70's-early 80's jack by Ford. Last known part number I traced was D3TZ 17080-A. You can get one at any junkyard out of a mid 70's pickup or even a mid 80's Ranger. I had a 84 Ford Ranger and the jack was identical down to the hole for the thumb screw to the one I pulled out of a 51 F-2 parts truck I bought from the original owner! It even had the correct thumb screw with it. The screw will be the only thing you will need to find as the late stuff doesn't use it anymore. The part number for that is 350451-S8 , 5/16x24 thread.
