cylinder layout of 4.0 engine

I am going to change the spark plug wires for my 1990 4.0 engine. Can someone please help me with the layout of the engine cylinder. Let say if you stand in front of the engine, is it the right side 1,2,3 and the left side(driver side) 4,5,6? The chilton manual show the coil with some numbers on it. I guess it corresponds to each cylinder. However, another picture showing the connection is different. That is why I want to make sure which cylinder is which. Thanks. I don't know how to put picture in the post, otherwise it will be easier to understand.
