new wheels for '68 ranchero

Hey I need new wheels for my '68 Ranchero I'm thinking Cragar SS's 15x4.5 on front and 15x10 on back. has anyone tried this combo? Also any say on backspacing?
Thanks for any advice! Molly

Usually a 4-4.50 backspacing is typical for Ford. With that skinny of a tire, no problem The problem area is the upper balljoint/A-arm in front and your wheel well opening in back. I doubt if you can fit a 10 inch tire inside the rear wheel well. 8inch will probably fit with a 4.5 backspace. Hope this helps
