For all you guys who are having this issue-
If any of you are running performance devices that might cause warranty issues, and you are having these symptoms, replacing the sensor yourself is not difficult. It sits at the top of a tube coming from the drivers side manifold on top of the water pump, and can be reached very easily by just pulling off the air filter. I am not sure about the price of the sensor, but if anyone would like to try this before a trip to the dealer and does not know how to remove it or where it is, just send me an email.

6.0 Quiet To Loud
They Replace The Egr Valve And That Didnt Fix It And They Tried To Tell Me That Was Normal. I Dont Think So. So I Spent 6 Hrs. Saturday At The Ford Dealer . And They Hook Up The Diagnostic Computer And Drove Around For 1hrs To Record What The Systems Were Doing At That Time. When It Was Doing The Quiet To Loud Thing . Drove Back To Ford Dealer . And Called Ford. And Sent The Feed Back To Ford . And They Said Change Backpressure Sensor . Replaced , And Drove Anther Hour Running Great . My Truck Is A 04 F-250 Cc Lb 4x2 6.0 With 4000 Miles . I Hope That This Helps
