oil pan interchange

hi from what ive been reading is it correct to assume that the 351-c and the 400 share the same oil pan? my dad has a '77 f250 4x4 c-6 4.10s and it has pinholes in the pan. i thought i would try and find one and didnt know if i needed a 400-specific pan or not. we also have rear spring shackle mounts about to rust off from the frame. dad is considering getting another farm truck, but i think it would be worth it to keep this one, its a real snow-mover, even if it only gets 8 mpg, the motor and driveline are in good shape (full-time 4wd) does somewhere like summit or jegs have a stainless pan? anyone else have rust-thru problems with oil pans? dad also had a 96 bronco with a 351 that has pinholes, he has tryed to braze them and it has slowed the leak down.

Your 4x4 should have a rear sump pan. You will need to get another rear sump pan from a 351M or 400.
