55 f100 panel with rear side windows
#16
Hi Paul! We bought them at an automotive swap meet. They are by Auto-Loc , and we have no problems with them. Easy to install.
As for the Vin, (Don't forget a wire brush to scrup away grime and dirt)
Some are stamped on the top of the frame rail on the driver`s side near/ in front of the steering gear box. (I found them on the passenger side of our panel, driver side of PU. Don't know if that is coincidence or not...Just my experience.)
And some people have found the vin on the front cross member of the frame where the radiator sits (towards the passenger side.)Make sense?
El, Terrific pictures!
