Do you have any small engine shops in your area?

So you need a whole new Peerless transmission? It should have a tag on it somewhere about where the case splits with a part number. Anytime I have messed with a Peerless it was pretty fouled up and just replaced it. Local Tecumsah dealers should be able to get what you are looking for with that part number.

If you can find that number I will see if I can find anything for you.

See if you can find a part number on it and I will see what I can dig up in one of my catalogs. No guarantee, but you never can tell. As far as the price, the last Peerless I bought was for a commercial walkbehind, it was around $170 through a dealer. I am sure parts are available, but it may take a dealer to sort through a catalog.

hello to a fellow lawn chief owner. lawn chief lawnmowersare made by MTD and are sold by true value hardware stores. you can contact MTD at their website www.mtd.com or you can call them at 1-866-840-6483 or 1-330-558-7220. you can also check sites such as jacks small engine parts or a.w. warehousing to get parts a bit cheaper. all you need is your model number.
