Where is all the Nascar fans at????

I'm just watching the Bristol race tonight in hope that Mark Martin will make it into the sacred top ten. Just wondering how you all stand on the NASCAR topic.

Still a fan but not a fanatic like I was a few years ago. I watched tonights race and still like the short tracks but for the most part they have lost my interest.

oh give it a rest, chevy ford dodge, it doesnt matter at that end of racing. all that ended when they quit using real cars to race, and now use these roll cages with skin. granted they are safer but not a real car so it doesnt really matter, although 7-10 fans will tell you it does

It's not so much the car anymore as it is the drivers.

Go Mark Martin

Mo. race fan

To the comment it is the drivers not the cars why is it these new guys cry when they change the tire/spoiler rules. Gordon/J.R./Martin & stewart and the rest of the season vets like to drive a car that is challenging not a IROC race. Need to get rid of restrictor plates let them run

Thats exactly wht it is more about the drivers then the cars. The cars have been made so close to alike that anytime a team can find a little Grey area and change the car it will out do all the others. Thus the drivers calls foul and want changes for theirs. It is no longer a car issue and with Nascar now designing their own car (check it out I am right) that they will be putting into action over the next 3 years it will really become a driver only issue. And if you really think about it it really won't be who is the best driver but who doesn't make a mistake.

excatly ! nascar wants more photo finishs, they want it to be close and tight racing. it is no longer who builds the best car or engine, if you find extra horsepower they just take it away again. keep this up and it will be like iroc racing. imagine if this trickeled down to other sports, in golf you are not allowed to eagle, only pars. basketball no 3 point shots only 2 point ones, baseball no homeruns allowed, and can only have 2 triples per game, soon you will only have to tune in during the last few laps of the race because they will all be running side by side for 300 laps doing 55mph. when will it end ? lol

I guess I must be a true FORD FANATIC ethier that or the sight of a bow tie or a ram makes me cringe but with me it is ROUSH RACING to the end. Jack Roush is the greatest and has a great race team! But my wife is a Jr. fan.

Hey, I can't say anything bad about Roush, he has a pretty good team. Just seems to be plauged with bad luck all the time
