Question Erratic Wipers

I have a 1999 B2500, that seems to have a mind of it's own. While driving, for no reason at all, the wipers will start, then stop. Sometimes when I'm using the turn signal, they start and I can't turn them off without fully engaging the wiper switch and then turning it back off. Has anyone had this problem? Is ther a remedy?

Get a pocket knife, and pop the little cap off of the part you twist and spray some WD/40 or other cleaner/lube in it.

The thread to the recall is the solution. I had the same problem with my 99 Ranger, and that fixed it.
