flowmasters on the triton V10

I'm a new F250 super duty owner. My 99 Sd has the triton V10 and I was wondering if any of you guys/gals have one with flowmasters on. does anyone make a cat back system for the V10?

I have the Banks Power Pack which consists of headers, new Y pipe, dynaflow muffler and new 3.5" tail pipe. The pipes ahead of the muffler are 3" all the way to the headers. I did change out the dynaflow muffler to a Flowmaster 70 series because the Dynaflow made it sound too much like a V6. There have been many post about V10 and flowmasters. They will NEVER sound anything close to a V8. They have a sound unique to themselves. It is sound that one has to learn to like. Some people hate the sound and some people like it. Myself I go back and forth from hating it to liking it. You know that love hate stuff. In the V10 forum do a search for "flowmaster" and you will have all the information you will ever need.

Several versions of cat back systems are out there. Check down in the V10 forum for many discussions on the various systems, their costs, HP gains, and sounds.

I went with the B&B system. Loud enough to let you know I'm coming yet quiet enough to still have a conversation in the cab (even with the 37" swampers roaring).

I have a V10 and a Flowmaster 40 series. While it doesn't sound like a V8 it does sound meaner then stock and not like a V6. It has a nice throaty sound at idle and while under load. In the higher RPM's I think it sounds stock.

I had a 40 series and thought it was not loud enough, so i put straights out the sides and love the sound.

I have the Flowmaster Super 40 Series and love it. Heard all the good and bad. Love the sound at idle and driving. Fatser rumble than the V8 with Flowmasters, more cylinders firing in sequence. Those of us who own them obviously like them better than those who've "just heard them."

Put a Flowmaster 50 on mine. It's more "civilized" than the 40
