How can I determine the engine size of my '62 Econoline Van?
2.4 or 2.8 ?
Clutch is slipping. Trying to find replacement package.

give me the serial number and the 3 lines from the data plate, and i can tell you what it came with. should only be 1 clutch kit for 62 anyway, never saw one that was differant. make sure to get the flywheel surfaced when you replace the clutch, or you might get the shakes.

part numbers are as follows, borg warner #s, clutch 270214. p plate 250138.

champion#s clutch p453 p plate ca466.

both are rebuilt, throw out bearing is the same for several years of fords.
