F150 VS Semi tractor

My truck got rear ended by a semi tractor last night. I was parked on the side of the road when a car attemting to turn left got rearended and pushed into the path of the semi. The semi swerved, took out the back end of the car and then ran strait into the back end of my trailer. As for me, I was running out into the farm field as I didn't want to be anywhere near the truck when it got hit. No life threating injury's, but it totalled my trailer and $3000 worth of damage to the back end of my truck.

The bright side of the accident, of the 4 vehicles involved, my FORD was the only one that was drivable after the accident.

When I get the pic's developed I will post them.

That could've been a lot worse, was your trailer empty? At least you still got your ford. -Bill

I am just glad I saw it coming as I was between the truck and trailer at the time.

The insurance company has been good to work with so far. I already found a bumper and tail gate. I will post some pics this weekend.

I got the check for my truck today. Not bad at all considering the accident was on monday. By the time I fix the truck myself, I should be able to pocket about $1000.
