99 F 150 whining HELP!!!

Engine is whining,gets louder as it accelerates.It will whine while sitting in park or neutal.Could it possibly be the alternator?or bearings in it?the sound seems to be comming from that side of the engine,hard to tell.Help

Could be your idle pully. it happened to me too, about 2 months ago.

I guess there's no way to pin point what it is exactly?or that something that just wears out?idle pully?

remove the belt then spin each pulley, my guess is the tensioner pulley
