I was dissapointed! A few other people I talked to were to, its become a huge money making event.
There were alot of nice cars but all the older ones were parked on the side of the road or in cars shows. It was sort of like being stuck in trafic through a 12 mile car show. I couldnt park because everything was full and I didnt want to leave my truck unsupervised. some places were charging $25 for parking!
If I were to go again it would be on the friday before with my car so I could burn some rubber and be a little more comfortable! (I had to sit Bi*ch in my own truck) single cab

Dream Cruise

Thanks for the info. I have a sister that lives in Royal Oak so maybe next year I can plan a trip up to see her. It's just a long drive from Tennessee!

The Dream Cruise is quite a spectacle if you can get past the large population growth in the area for that weekend. The estimated 2004 attendance was 1.7 million....

I planned to go this past weekend, but some things got in the way. It was a bummer though, I liver fairly close (< 1/2 hour) and up to and during the DC weekend, you see all kinds of classic and new muscle cars, sports cars and trucks out cruising around. I've gone for the past 3 years not including this one and it is quite the show. I would suggest that you try to go at least once.
