01 Explorer Sport Stalling ... Replaced IAC

I have been having problems with my 01 explorer SOHC stalling after running at highway speeds. I don't seem to have an issue during normal travel, although the engine does seem to idle to slow (500 - 800 RPM). I have replaced the IAC value, but I still have the stalling problem. After coming off the freeway and coming to the stop light I have to shift the trans into N to keep the enging from stalling and then apply gas while shifting back into D. After I do this, the car will run fine from then on out, until I am back on the freeway.

Any suggestions ?
