I was wondering if anyone had ever changed their Explorer over to a standard from an A4LD automatic? I have an opportunity to buy a standard transmission from a 91 Explorer along with anything else i need off of it as the guy who owns it is parting it out. I know i have to install a clutch pedal assembly with the master cylinder from it and electrical differences as well, but i would like to know if the computer has to change as well. Any information on this subject is greatly appreciated.
