Recall expansion??

I've heard rumors that the tire recall may be expanded to include additional sizes. I've got a new 2000 EB with P255-R7016. Anyone else heard these rumors.

Also, I'd like to replace these tires, even if the recall is not expanded. I'm thinking of going a bit larger and more aggressive. However, I'm concerned that deviating from stock tire size may have an adverse effect on my warranty. Anyone know about this?
