Rislone engine treatment

Has anyone else tried this engine treatment to stop valve lifters from chattering? I have an 87 f150 with 140,000 , 4.9 reg. gas. if that doesn't work how about Sea Foam Slick50 and Dura Lube I'm thinking its worth a try before replacing all my lifters. Lifters are about 3.00 bucks each plus gaskets. Thanks again

I've heard good things about Rislone and Restore. Both seem to work pretty well.

I have a very high mileage engine in my truck now (293K) and its quite tired, so since I'm not quite ready to swap in the new motor just yet, so I did the "restore" thing as recommended by someone here, trying to get a little more compression and less blowby.

So far, in 3500 miles, I've noticed both simply by judging how the throttle reacts to my foot. Also, the one valve that has been tapping since 1996, stopped tapping after about 200-300 miles after treatment.

Is it fixed? Naaah, of course not. But its less annoying
