Does anyone know if you can wash engine oil out of the washable air filters (like K&N and the new Fram Air Hog)? On my Bronco, I have a small problem with blowby and every three to four months my air filter is soaked with oil and I'll have to get a new one and at $10 a pop, it starts to get expensive. I'd also like the extra flow a washable air filter provides, but if I cant wash out engine oil I'll have to stick with the throw away filters until I have enough cash for a rebuild.

 

i had that same problem when i had my bronco i used k&n filter just use the recharge kit and your good to go it cleans out oil with no problem
