I am looking at ordering the 5" Chrome Step Bars from www.fordaccessories.com for $420 plus shipping for my '04 Screw. That seems rather expensive to me, but my primary question is has anybody used this site before and what was their experience? That is to say, was the product as advertised, overpriced, shipping times, etc...?

I have used the site as a reference/catalog. I cruise the site and see something I want and then go down to the Ford dealer and get it. The prices are the same but you pay no shipping.

I have dealt with them multiple times and will deal with them again. No problems at all.

I just happened to look out at this site and they list the chrome tube steps at 349.99. I have also dealt with them no problem.

Thanks for the info. kingfish. Those are the 4" bars though, I think I want to get the 5". However, that is the cheapest I have seen the 4" by $20-$30.

Sorry, I missed the size difference. One thing you might try is go to the dealer and see if they will give you a break on the cost. As I do a good bit of business with my dealer, I can usually get accessories and parts at 10 15% below list. Sometimes more. Worth a shot.
