i replaced my radio with an after market CD player. i removed the dash cover for the radio opening then i reinstalled afterwards and the air bag light came on.i then wiggled on the connector for the air bag key switch and it went off.i installed a power amplifier and had to remove the panel again and now the light on the dash stays on for the air bag,and the light for the passenger side air bag is off i checked the plug for bad a connection and it still dosent work .Has anyone ever run into a problem like this???

 

Have you checked all your fuses?
Any chance you pulled a wire out of the connector when you had it out?

 

i think the plug it self is bad i'm gonna try switching it tomorrow.i mean the air bag on off switch.but before i'll see if all the fuses are good thanks.

 

The same thing happened to me when i was taking apart the dash.Ford read the code today and it was the airbag switch.

 

the same switch im talking about??
