I have a 95 F150 Extended Cab 300 six and would also like to swap my stick for and auto. Has anyone completed such a swap and can you tell us how ?
Here is what I know:
1. Best Auto = E4OD
2. Drive Shaft needs to be changed
3. Radiator Needs to be replaced with a unit equipped with trans cooler
fittings.
4. Trans cooler for towing ?
5. Trans lines run from Auto to Rad
6. Trans Cross member ?
7. shifter moved to colum (I may consider floor shifter ) Would it be best to swap the whole steering colum from and Auto equipped truck ?

3. leave stock rad in place & 4. just add aftermarket tranny cooler. However, most stock rads did still have tranny coolers in them, the lines were just plugged.

7. Do the steering column swap, you can swap in a tilt steering column if your truck doesn't already have one.

Don't forget the shift linkage from a donor truck (intermediate pivot with bracket on frame and bracket on tranny).
