My pops has a 2002 F150 reg cab and he wants to buy a factory CD player. Anyone here know where I can find one?

 

E-BAY or a local salvage yard. I would suggest an aftermarket CD player. It would probably be about the same price, if not cheaper and you get more options. You would need a wiring harness adapter and mounting kit (about $15-20 at wal-mart).

 

I would consider the aftermarket but my father wants the factory player, he really likes the stock look and fit.

 

The mounting kit gives it a good look and fit. It fills up the extra space with a small storage slot. I would recomend the Metra kits, if you decide to go that way.

 

You can also find the factory 6-cd indash units on ebay.

Its really a plug and play kind of deal.

 

I bought an FM/AM cassette/CD changer and the clarion 6 disk CD player for $50 on ebay. They were out of a '99 but fit my '02 perfectly. I'm very happy with both however, I did have to buy the wiring harness for the CD player seperately. I got that off ebay as well at Taro electronics for @ $49.95.
