I've just started on my 53 f-100 and have started to disassemble some parts for sanding. One problem that I have encountered is the door handles. Is there a special tool required to remove the keeper on the door and window crank handles? This maybe a stupid question but I havent been able to find anything to get underneath the clips to remove them. Any info would be appreciated.

 

Any good parts store should have the tool, 4-6$, Bob

 

Thanks for the info. I felt kind of stupid after last night when I figured out how to get them off. I guess I was having a brain fart.
