98 Explorer OEM CD Player "Eject Error" Help!!!

I have a 98 Explorer with the factory AM/FM Cassette/CD with premium sound. When I try and load a CD it won't go, and then when I hit the eject button it says "Eject Error". I'm avoiding taking it to the dealer for repairs. Anyone help? Thanks in advance.
