460 Ci Engine
I have a question about ford big block engines. Can some one tell me what was the last year that ford manufactured the 460 engine? And also could you tell me what is the largest ci engine that ford has built in the last 10 years? Thanks for the help.

Last I saw of the 460 was in a 97 super duty. In the last 10 years, that would be the largest, unless you went into industrial engines. Other than that, the 7.3 diesel would be next, then the V-10 (6.8 liters, 460 was 7.5)

Naw ford has some bigger engines, they have a mid 500ish CI engine, I believe it's a crate motor. I've also seen an 800ci ford hemi engine
The monster trucks use the mid 500 ci engine, with a little steriods (about 1500hp)

Ford built a 534 V-8 at one time, and put it in heavy duty trucks (C, F, and L series in the 800, and 900 size trucks). Not sure when they quit building them.
