I have a 93':

351, GT 40 Intake and heads and a host of other high profomance parts

"The 93-95 Lightning trucks set the high water mark for performance in the 2wd truck category. In straight line performance the truck was/is awesome. It ran with another manufacturer's sport truck that had over 100 cubic inches more displacement. In anything other than straight line performance this truck has had no equal. It would lap a closed course quicker than a Mustang GT of the same year. It had better lateral grip than all but the most expensive sports cars. Throw in a 60 mph to zero in 140 ft and you have a vehicle that can stun most sports car owners.

The 2nd generation Lightnings come with a supercharged 5.4L (330ci) SOHC engine. The 99&00 were factory rated at 440foot pounds of torque and 360 horsepower. The 01 & up recieved a bigger mass air meter and a few other goodies that boosed power output to 450 foot pounds and 380hp.
