Exterior ARmorall?

I am looking for a good armorall or a good product to put on my exterior plastic pieces that when it rains won't run. I like the shiny look of armour all and stp but they run down the paint when it rains.

Any ideas?

I use Mothers Back to Black, it isn't quite as shiny as Armour All but it's made for the outside plastic. It also won't turn you plastic grey either.

I have had good results with Meguires Hot Shine. It lasts a while too. I had the same problem with armor all and it was a pain in the rear...

I use the Meguiar's gold class protectant wipes (easier then spray). It seems to last pretty long and I found it to be better then Mother's Back to Black. It works on the inside also (and no white fuss, like the armourall wipes)

Not for me it hasn't. The regular armor all does is a bad way. I really like the hot shine. I tried several types over all long period of time and that's what I came up with. Hope it helps..

I use paste wax.........the same for your paint. The UV protectant stuff if you like.
Every fire department I've worked for uses car wax for the plastic lenses of those lightbars. Use it on my vehicles...simple, and works great.
Might take a couple times...cleans em up after they've gone all hazy too.

I second peppy's response, same reasons he stated.

I used to use Vinylex but it ran in the rain. I now use 1Z Einszett Tiefenpfleger
it was designed in Germany to withstand car washing. IT DOES NOT run when it's washed or rained on. Here is the link.CLICK HERE for 1Z
Great stuff. I use it on my tires also. It isnt shiny crap just a clean look!

Just a question about peppys comment, when waxing a vehicle, can you also wax the headlights and taillights?

I agree with Peppy also. I have used the regular way on the plastic and works great. Be careful not to get it on any of the black around it.
