flashing air bag light in 1994 f150

I have a 1994 f150 I-6 5spd XL with a driver air bag only, the air bag warning light keeps flashing repeditaly when the vehicle is running or being driven. Does anyone know what causes this or what it means.
Thanks

I'd probably take that to a dealer. maybe you are mistaking it for your ABS light? If so, we can help ya.

It flashes in a particular sequence (I don't know all the codes, just this one), for example, 3, then pause, then 2, then long pause. For this particular sequence it meant that the clockspring needed to be replaced. It also effected my horn. $118 for the part and $74 to replace it, at a local shop.

Thanks for the info. i havnt watched the light enough yet to find out if its blinking in a pattern, it just seems to go on and off with long pauses between.

See if you cruise and horn are not working. If so, it's the clockspring. Mine's broken right now too.

speaking of the clock spring in my 94 f150i hooked up an air horn. i just unhooked the original plugs and plugged them into the air compressor. needless to say this blew my clock spring. the horn stuck on a few times now nothing works cruise, or horn buttons. for some reason my local parts guy told me for a new clockspring it would be like 318. and also my air ag light is flashing
