B2 Engine Swap

I'm buying another engine for my 1985 B2, 4X4, and I was wondering what would be the best engine to put in it. I would like a carbureted 2.8L V6 but is there any difference in the Bronco 2, Ranger, and Aerostar engines. Thanks for any help.

Aerostar engines supposedly have a one belt setup, serpentine belt is what I think it’s called. Motor itself is the same though.
