Vibration/bounce question

Vibration/bounce question
I have a question about this vibration/bounce that everyone is talking about. I notice when I drive a certain highway here (H1 by the airport for the people in Hawaii) that my truck feels as if it is a boat hitting the crest of the waves and skipping up from them. Almost as if the shocks were shot and it just can't seem to recover from a bounce. Sorry for the wierd analogy but thats is all i can compare it to.
I know this highway isn't the smoothest because i get the same feelings in my motorcycle which has a very good suspension on it. LOL in fact not many roads in Hawaii are that smooth!!
On another note, anyone get a squeeking sound from the engine compartment? Like wet belts or something else like that?
or, does anyone get a cluck or slipping in their transmission one some starts from a red light/stop sign??

Des, what are you driving? I get the same response when I'm driving my military 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 in that area heading to Sand Island back to Pearl or even when heading to Ewa Beach. Drive it through Nanakuli and see how it respond there. It's by far the worst road (Farrington) on the Island.

RED 04 SUPERCREW 5.4L Stock so far. having a friend getting me a hook-up at Exhuast Systems Hawaii on the FlowMaster 50 series cat back dual tip system soon. I'm over near Pearl Harbor Military housing. Yeah I bet Farrington is worse! besides that part of the road it drives great elsewhere.

Still waiting for mine to get here off the boat. BLK on BLK Lariat Scab 5.4 133" 4X4. My Dealer called me to say that it departed valencia,ca tuesday and should be in port here sun. so maybe next week I'll be driving her if I don't find any problems during road test and inspection. I ordered her fully loaded with the exceptions of stuff I felt I didn't need like: Full-time Vibe, New Steering Nibbler, AC Cab Warmer, Windshield Drip system, and Rear-end Bounce system . I test drove 12 various model F150's to date from Cutter, Honolulu and McKennas and it seems they left all those options off as well.
BTW- how much were you quoted from ESH? I spoke to them (Leeward store) on having true duals off Gibson headers and probably removing the Cat, he stated the new F150's he believed has 4 (huh?) cats on them and wouldn't be beneficial to do that. but he quoted for everything just under 1K.

I took my truck offroad for the first time yesterday. It was a dirt road in a new subdivision where i bought a lot. There were a lot of dozer tracks and was scared because of the things ive heard but i was very surprised. It rode great. no skipping or bounce of the rearend. Mine is a 4x2, not sure if that matters
