Vibrations on 04 SuperCrew?

I see a lot of posts on the 04 super cab vibrating (either front end or drive line). Just wondering how many SuperCrews are doing it. I thought it may be based on the build date but there are so many different dates posted...it just seems to be a running problem with some trucks.

Went to the dealer last night to get a trade value and they offered me so much for my old truck I HAVE to get a new one. Found one (s-crew, 2wd, 5.4, 3.55, all the options I want) but it was built in December 03 and I was kind of skeptical because it was an early build.

Any thoughts?

I have a December '03 KC built 2WD SCrew XLT w/ 5.4L and 3.55 LSD with 4000 miles on it (bought new March '04) and, I'm pleased to report, no major problems to date. A few "annoyances" have developed which I'll have taken care of at 5000 mile service; speedometer reports about 3 mph faster than actual speed, and the transmission sometimes doesn't fully engage (slips) when shifting from reverse to drive. Other than that, I couldn't be happier with the truck.

Thanks for all the replies. Seems the vibration problems are random from everything I have read. I am looking at one tonight-they are bringing it from toledo, OH. I was torn about getting such an early build but since the problems are random (and this one is the color the wife wants, not to mention the problems usually don't show up after you have 1000+ miles on it...I'll test drive this one and go for it. They are giving me so much for my trade in, it makes me sick
