I agree about the classic. I just rebuilt the power divider in a friends truck. He has a Classic XL. Nice truck.

I have several Mac and Snap-on 5/8 12pt. impact sockets with the teeth shucked out of them from starters. They can be one of the worst jobs a person can get in the wrong truck, like a car hauler.

I got into the M11 head gasket problem they had back in 99 I think it was. We helped out the IH dealer that was behind us. They had a bunch of them that had to get done so they asked if we could help them out. I made a piece for a fork lift so I could take the head out of the right cab door. I have it around here somewhere.

KW wanted to get rid of the T6s but to many people complained and they would have lost customers.

What are your drive train parts? When I was there most of the W9s had N14s 13 or 18 trans and Eaton 404 drives with 355 gears. That was a common and good combo.
I agree the t2000 werent good lookin as were the "anteaters". As they say its not a kenworth unless its a w9!! 1984 f250 (in process of restoration) 6.9 strait piped i can run it now around the house and is loud as hell!!!! 3" body 3" homemade suspension lift fuel screw turned and advanced timing. 272000 rough, hard miles

7.3 to 6.9 to 7.3

92 F350 4x4 7.3 na auto 4.10 gears, 230k swapped 7.3 for 6.9 with Banks Sidewinder needed more power. Auto started slipping installed controller for trans stayed the same, swapped in a ZF 5sp with single mass flywheel sounds like it has gravel in trans using synthetic oil in trans sounds the same works and runs good. Fixing to swap in a 93 nonpowerstroke turbo motor due to old engine using oil 2 qts in 250 miles and fuel mileage with tailwind 15 going 65 the original set-up got 18 at 70/75 mph.
