'86 F-250 4x4 reg cab, 6.9na, C-6, 3.55 gears, brown and tan, 265/75/16's on factory powerstroke wheels. ladder rack, (2) 8' weatherguard bedside diamondplate toolboxes makes the truck look like a tank. Runs well, mileage unknown (200,000 is guess) very clean truck for its age. Great work rig.

Well, with 320 horse and 600 lb/ft torque, there isn't a need to crank it up much more. I had been looking at the 12V mech engines, but by the time I bought a parts truck and rebuilt the engine, or bought a reman from Cummins, I was very close to what I could purchase this new one for. Plus, I like the technology. It is a step forward and it is different from the norm.
The electronics do not scare me. I have swapped several late model EFI engines into early chassis', so the wiring and computer control isn't a problem.
