1993 F350 7.3L IDI w/Banks Turbo Diesel 4x4...309,000 Miles. Long Bed Crew Cab...Just bought my first diesel...its like driving your house...doesnt even shift gears going uphill...Gasoline NOT EVER AGAIN.

I wish they made a diesel after shave, and I love waking up the neighbors.

89 F-450 7.3 IDI 5spd 323,000km on the truck unknown about engine original engine blew up dropped in a used engine with no history or known kilometerage. The old truck runs good my first diesel light truck probably never go back to gas. Currently looking for a newer F-450 with most likely IDI power my current truck has seen better days.

My old IDI gets 11mpg and tops out at 100km/h (62mph) at 3000rpm

One thing about the IDIs they are simple no electronics to deal with they are slow as a turtle but who cares I'am glad I don't have to deal with a 6mpg 460 like I had before

I pushed more unsuspecting tourist off the road this summer with the old IDI power couldn't get away from me climbing the hills

Devbravo, Pulling a 7,000lb horsetrailer it's between 8 and 10mpg depending on hills and how much I'm trying to show off. It's a 5spd manual, is that what you meant?
