Question 3.0 Intake For Carb

I Have A 91 3.0 Out Of A Areostar, Auto Trans, Does Anyone Know Of A Intake Manifold (for A Carb) That Fits Pref. OEM If Not Aftermarket, As Well As A Dist. That Doesn't Use A Computer.

Welcome to FTE!

I don't think you are going to find an intake for the 3.0L that uses a carb and no computer.

I know that the old '86 Aerostars had carbs, but I'm not sure if they were the vulcan. The taurus that came out that year had a vulcan, though.

The 86 aerostar was not carbed, it had an EFI 3.0. Pre-86 carbed Aerostar V6's were the 2.8, no relation to the 3.0.

Talking

Hey Guys and Girls. I to have been looking for a 4bbl Intake for my 3.0 Ranger for years.
I'VE FOUND IT !!!!!!!!!

Tom Morana racing.

Give him a call and he'll hook you up.

He has the intake and roller rockers so you won't have to change your cam.
All you'll have to pick up on your own is a M.S.D. 6AL plug"n"play (bypasses the computer) and your desired carb, Holley 750 double pump race carb for me!
every body.

By the time you spent $500 for the intake then buy a carb, I'd just say screw it and do a 5.0 swap.
