Help me choose truck bed tool box please.

I have a $400 Weatherguard, black diamond aluminum. Compared to a $170 or even a couple hundred dollar box, I looked at metal thickness, one door, could I stand on it to wash the top of my truck without bending it? My Weatherguard fit the bill. You go rap on a home depot model then rap on a weatherguard. You can hear the difference in strength. Mine also has two push buttons to open the single lid. One on each side and you can unlock either side to get her open. It sits a bit high on the rear window, but has clearance under it for hauling small loads of 8' material. Pics in my gallery.

I have a black CDI box. The quality is great, i have never had anything wrong with it. It is almost identical to UWS boxes. The only difference is a UWS box has injected foam in the lid and the CDI has a foam piece laid inside. You can stand on it while washing and it won't dent. Cost me $215 even with it being black.

There's a place down the street that sells used boxes. I picked an OTR Delta gullwing for $25, and then had it rekeyed for $10. Did a fantastic black spraypaint job, and I've been beating the heck out of it for a few months now. I'm poor and didn't want to spend the whole 200-300 bucks on a legitimate box. Try looking for a used truck dealer in your area. This guy that I bought it from had stacks of boxes and bed mats and shells and stuff that he pulls off of his trucks before he sells them.
