Question flat head birthday

I have been looking but I can't figure this one out
the # code on the intake is PC5740 followed by a star
any thoughts

Is it on the intake itself or on the intake surface of the block?

you might check out the bonusbuilt forum - Canada did their own thing on vins

the date stamp in the us only works on 48-53 flatheads and is located on the passenger side rear corner of the intake flat. If the engine was rebuilt it may have been shaved off and is therefore missing. Some rebuilders attached a tag, some didn't.
