Question 7.3L tune up

How many miles before us 99+ psd owners need to get a tune up on our trucks? And what do they do on the diesels. One question these trucks
have hydraulic lifters right,? so we don't ever have to get the valves adj-
usted for a long time? Just maybe get a valve grind after about 400k miles
hehe?

Don't forget, you'll have to drop your oil pan and find the grease zerks on the crank bearings and grease them about every 50,000 miles. Just make sure you drain the oil out of the pan before you pull it off...

You don't need to do anything until it's time for an overhaul. Conservatively speaking, that's around 250K miles. If you are sad about this and really are itching to spend money, change the fuel filter, clean the fuel regulator screen, change the oil, change the coolant, change the air filter, and wipe down the engine.

Derek, FYI the signature in your profile is for your truck, not your name. You might want to fill in what you drive. It makes it easier in threads and then you don't need to give the details about what truck you drive.

Look, we all like a good laugh now and then, but seriously, the only thing I've done to keep my psd in tip top shape is to recalibrate the angle of the finnekin pins every so often.
