Question 1965 ford paint

This question is somwhat a rerun from a while back. I need help with 1965 ford pick up paint color. I have checked with a few paint stores and not help. Somone sent me a color chart for 1965 but I did not see color I am looking for. Color I am looking for was very popular at least in 1965 & I belived other years as I remember seeing many half tons to 2 tons of the same color. I am working on my dads truck that he bough new. THE COLOR IS BETWEEN A VERY LIGHT TAN AND WHITE, MAYBE BIEGE? THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP. PAUL DAVIS

Seems like I have heard of "Bengal Tan". Could that be what you are looking for?

Paul:
The paint color code should be on your warranty plate on the door, just need to cross reference from there. Looks like you only really have one "beige" choice...

Welcome aboard! --Mike

On my '62, the white trim is Corinthian White, code "M", & the body is Holly Green, code "L". I found a color chart from Classic Truck Shop.com . I had previously gotten the green from an auto paint store here in Denver, before I saw the above mentioned web site. I found Tower Paint Co on the web. They will mix your color in 16oz spray cans, if you want to do trim parts, and/or the whole interior, as I did. It is good quality, & turned out way better than I imagined. I also did fender edges & door jams, firewall, hood sidesetc., so that all I will need to do will be to go to my paint man, & have him shoot it with the 2 stage Holly Green, after I mask it real good. Check out the Classic truck Shop site, & you can type in your year truck, & hopefully, find your color, if it is different than my '62.

My bet is on "Wimbledon White". That's the color I have on my '65.
